rescued this poor betta from an idiotic petshop that was going to 'get rid of him' because of his 'ugly tail' (he came in with their usual shipment of half dead VT's) he had a nasty case of velvet and was at the floating clamped fin/not moving stage of the disease. Good thing someone was there when he was about to be thrown out. after 3 days of velvet treatment with copper and rock salt he is looking like this (copper treatment as directed, rock salt at 1/4 tsp per gal.) the petshop didnt get a $ I got a wonderful new pet...priceless! Hates the camera.
