It is very simple, cut a reasonably new mature leaf off at about 3 inches below water level, leave the stem on the plant and on the leaf. about 4-7 days later the leaf wil begin to grow roots from the cut end of the stem, and if you are lucky the stem left on the plant will begin to form plantlets too. These will naturally grow into banana's and fall off when they are mature enough. I tried this and it works
